After the passing of my father, I went through one of the most difficult moments of my life. Alongside my own grief, I watched my family struggle to cope with the loss. Almost instinctively, I began looking for a way to remember him — something that would feel close, meaningful, and alive.

I created presentations. I made photo albums.
But it still felt like something was missing.
My sister, in particular, was having an especially hard time. I felt she needed a space of her own — a place where she could express her longing, her memories, and her connection to our dad in a way that felt personal and comforting.
That’s when the idea for Lumie began to take shape.
After many experiments and designs, I created a bracelet for her — customized exactly to her taste. When I explained the idea behind it, she simply said:
“That way, he is always with me.”

In that moment, I saw relief.
I felt meaning.
And I knew Lumie had fulfilled its purpose.
That was the turning point — the moment I understood that this idea had to exist beyond our family. I wanted to create something that could help others feel comfort, connection, and peace. Something honorable. Something that cherishes life, memory, and presence.
